Anti-financial-crime professional
I review and build AML and fraud-risk systems, lead investigations and compliance operations, and help teams embed integrity into everyday decisions.
WHAT I DO
MY PRACTICE
My work spans the anti-financial-crime lifecycle: reviewing AML/CFT/CPF and fraud-risk controls; designing KYC, EDD, screening, transaction monitoring, Travel Rule compliance, policies and training; leading investigations; and running compliance operations as companies scale. I work with executives, compliance teams, product teams, developers and regulators to adapt the first principles of risk management for their specific context.
Assess existing controls, speak with the people inside the process, follow the evidence and identify risk exposure.
Design intuitive policies, systems, processes and tools for the business’s specific needs.
Lead investigations, implementation, operations and cross-functional projects as risks and products evolve.
THE ROLES I PLAY
I review and build AML and fraud-risk systems, lead investigations and compliance operations, and help teams embed integrity into everyday decisions.
I plan and lead complex, time-bound work across risk management, creative technology, data and multiple stakeholder groups.
I help organisations and executives understand what they are doing, why it matters and how to tell the human story.

WHY MY WORK MATTERS
Financial crimes are offshoots of more heinous crimes like human trafficking, drug trafficking and terrorism. Our collective safety and the global economy are protected when bad actors cannot move through the system undetected.
The strongest systems make integrity a seamless part of everyday decisions, processes and products.
