Mercy is my legal first name. I prefer Ore.
A LITTLE GLIMPSE
How I’m building
a life that works.
I wake up early on most days. I prefer to do deep work and study when Lagos is the quietest it can be. I enjoy long walks because I think in motion, literally. My afternoons are dedicated to meetings and administrative tasks. In the evening, I return to work and some light reading before bed.
When I feel whelmed, I make things with my hands: a tray of Nigerian meat pies, choc-chip cookies or banana bread. Sharing them with my house guests fills me with a joy I cannot quite name. I discover myself in quiet moments and in conversations with friends.
“I don’t want to live in a world where transformation is not possible.”— my working belief
CAFÉ NOTICEBOARD
A few things that tend to come up over lunch.
My first plant was a finger cactus. I overwatered it to death. Please, temper mercy—I was a newbie plant caretaker. My thumb is yellow now, on its way to green.
I think garri is one of the best things humans have made. I nominate its inventors for a Nobel Peace Prize.

What are you trying to make possible?
I’m open to full-time, contract and consulting roles, or to collaborate on creative short-term projects. I am currently based in Lagos and available to work with teams doing meaningful work anywhere in the world.
Bring me the question, even if you do not yet have the brief.
